I was previously using Conifer to arrange and describe captures to improve ease of access - using the Lists to create a navigational structure, adding information about replay in the Metadata section, and using the Story view to bring these together.
Hi @alaust! Browsertrix has a slightly different approach to curation, based around our Collections feature. Collections enable users to combine crawls and uploaded WACZ files together, provide a title and description, and set either a page list or a specific URL as the entry point for users. Collections are private by default but can be set to unlisted (shareable via a URL but not discoverable to people who don’t have the link) or public, in which case it is available in your organization’s public collections gallery.
You can see examples of what public collections look like here, in the public collections gallery for our US Government Web Archive, which contains data crawled as part of Webrecorder’s contribution to the End of Term project: Browsertrix
Thanks Tessa. I’m really looking to customise the page list that users see when sharing items through a Collection. Is there a way to do this in Browsertrix, or does anyone know of any other way that might facilitate this?
