[Feature Request] Trackpad navigation and default load settings for desktop app

Hi everyone,

First off, thank you as always for creating such a valuable tool—your work is greatly appreciated!

I wanted to suggest two potential enhancements for the desktop versions of ReplayWeb.page and ArchiveWeb.page:

  1. Trackpad Gestures: Adding native macOS two-finger swipe support for forward and backward navigation would make moving between pages much smoother on Mac.

  2. Defaulting to Recent Captures: When a URL has multiple recordings, it currently defaults to the very first version captured. Having an option to set the latest recording as the default view would streamline navigation significantly.

  1. We don’t have time time to implement trackpad specific features for specific platforms at this time. You can use the browser version of ReplayWeb.page which already comes with touchpad, etc… support.

  2. What do you mean by “defaults”? If you’re selecting a page, it should load the exact timestamp of that page. If you’re linking to an embedded version, you can choose which timestamp is selected. Perhaps there is a bug somewhere, if you can explain what you’re trying to do..
